The Northern Lights reveal what is always around us
In a deep inner session, I was privileged to witness what I can only describe as the universe itself, not as emptiness, but as a living structure. I saw layers and codes, symbolic structures, multidimensional fields moving through one another, vibrations organising form, plasmic and photonic light flowing in countless colours and shapes. Nothing was static. Everything moved, interpenetrated, responded.
There were moments where light behaved like flame. Colour was not decoration, but function. There were moments where form dissolved into current.
When I heard the Northern Lights mentioned in a film today, that memory returned. And suddenly something clicked.
A River, Not a Light
The aurora does not behave like illumination. It behaves like water.
It flows. It braids. It coils. It accelerates and slows. It responds instantly to changes in its environment.
This is not a metaphor. It is structure.
Anyone who has watched a river moving around stones, or a flock of birds shifting direction as one body, has already seen the same intelligence at work. The aurora follows the same principles: local responsiveness, collective coherence, no central control. Only we see no visible stones in the sky as we do in our 3D rivers. The stones in the sky are invisible structures: magnetic field lines, density gradients, electrical currents, temperature boundaries, and subtle layers of atmospheric water. These act as constraints and guides, shaping the flow of the aurora light without ever becoming solid or fixed.
What moves is not individual particles, but relationship.
Murmuration in the Sky
A flock of birds does not follow a leader. Each bird responds to its nearest neighbours, adjusting distance, speed, and direction moment by moment. From the outside, it looks choreographed. From the inside, it is pure listening, responding and being.
Auroral light behaves the same way.
Each filament of light responds to magnetic curvature, atmospheric density, and electrical charge around it. Information moves faster than matter. The result is a living, breathing movement that looks intentional because it is coherent.
This is why the aurora feels alive. Because it is a field expressing itself through countless points at once.
What Is Always Here, Becoming Visible
The Northern Lights are often described as something rare that appears only at the poles. But the deeper truth is simpler:
The same current is always here.
Solar plasma, electromagnetic fields, charged particles, and atmospheric water are present everywhere on Earth. What changes at the poles is not content, but structure.
When the circumstances are right, the planetary water, the magnetic field, and incoming cosmic information align strongly enough that consciousness becomes visible as light.
At high latitudes:
- magnetic field lines are more vertical
- air is colder and more ordered
- water exists in highly coherent states
- interference is lower
The filters thin.
What is normally invisible becomes visible.
The aurora is not created at the poles. It is revealed there.
One of the Phases of Water
I would explain the aurora as one of the higher phases of water expressing itself. Not liquid water. Not ice. But water as a carrier of light, charge, and information.
Water does not only exist in rivers and bodies of water. It exists in the atmosphere. In vapour. In crystalline microstructures. In charged aerosols. And also as photonis plasmic light. (Yet to be discovered by our scientists)
Under polar conditions, water organises into forms that make energy flow visible. The light does not arrive as a beam. It moves as a current.
Seen this way, the aurora is not separate from us. It is water and light behaving in a different state.
Why It Feels Familiar
Many people feel deeply moved by the aurora without knowing why. They fall silent. They cry without story. They feel time soften.
This is not awe. It is resonance.
The water inside the human body responds to the same principles. Our nervous system, cerebrospinal fluid, and emotional currents all move through water. When the conditions of the sky align into coherence and the aurora becomes visible, the inner waters recognize the same movement.
Something ancient relaxes. Something remembers.
I Missed It, and Still Met It
When I was in Iceland, some people saw the Northern Lights while I was inside. I missed the visible display.
Yet nothing was missed.
What was missed was only the moment of seeing with the eyes. The body was still inside the field. The nervous system, the inner waters, were still in contact. The body does not need the eyes to recognise a current, it already knows.
And on another level, nothing was missed at all. Because the aurora is not something that appears only at certain moments in time. It is a current that is always around us, usually invisible. At the poles it becomes visible because the circumstances change, not because the current suddenly arrives.
The meeting does not always happen through the eyes. Sometimes it happens through resonance. Sometimes it happens through alignment. Seeing becomes confirmation, not initiation.
Nothing was denied. Nothing was lost.
A World Made of Currents
What the aurora reveals is not an exception, but a rule.
Reality is not built from static objects. It is built from currents moving at different speeds.
Water, plasma, light, and consciousness are not separate systems. They are the same movement expressed through different densities.
In the far north, the world briefly shows us how it really behaves when compression loosens.
A sky that flows. A river of light. A murmuration of coherence.
And for those who feel the call, it is not a call to the spectacle. It is a call to remember how to move.
What would change for you when you stop looking for light as something to observe, and remember that you are already made of it?
A body of light and water, plasmic and crystalline, flowing across dimensions?
Constantly in resonance with everybody and everything around you.
